1967 Shelby Mustang Additional Info:

Well folks, the time has come to sell my beloved GEM of a Shelby. This is a tried and true 1967 Shelby GT500 with documented original 21,567 miles. Probably the lowest documented Shelby GT500 in the world. I have every receipt since birth, copies and original purchase order invoices, original sales receipts, etc. This is a completely RUST FREE 67’ Shelby, no filler, all factory original body parts, etc. Not only is this Shelby one of the lowest mile examples you will find, it is probably one of the most well kept and documented examples. The only paint job being in 1984 documented with photos, the car was stripped to bare metal, sandblasted, and repainted in its original Nightmist Blue, arguably Ford's best color choice for this superior Shelby. I purchased the car in early 2021, and immediately pulled the engine and had the entire 428 rebuilt per factory specifications. The car ran great, but had several leaks and smoked on start up. Years of gasket repair with gunk and a dirty engine bay it was time to get that one detail resolved. The car runs and drives as good as it did out of the factory. The brake booster works flawlessly, no pulling or weird stories with this one. The engine bay is now clean and organized and the car is completely sorted. Interior is all original to the car, the only thing that has been done is a professional paint job (receipts included) in 1984. The current paint I would argue is a 8.5/10, there are some minor chips but the paint glistens vibrantly in the sun and shows incredibly well. This is arguably one of the most desirable Shelby's in existence, with Carrol Shelby's name signed right across the middle of the dash. Its priced well below what it would fetch at Mecum or BJ and priced to sell. Clean title in my name ready for transfer. Less than 420 of these were made with this trim and who knows how many are left. $225k or best offer.
