1965 Shelby Additional Info:

I have owned this for a little over a year. When I bought it, the steering was 18:1 manual. I changed that to 15:1 power. It also had a 15 inch wooden steering wheel which I have changed to a 14 inch leather. End results were felt immediately. The I.R.S. was optional from Factory Five Racing. The side pipes when I bought it were black; I changed them to stainless.I did this for cosmetic reasons, but, the stainless ones sound deeper and more powerful.I also changed the steel bumpers to stainless. It does have a CD player built into the radio. The object sitting in front of the radio is for satellite pick-up. I will leave the mount, but I am keeping the adapter itself because it fits into the other two vehicles I have.I have had no trouble with this vehicle since I bought it.Front tire size is 235/45 R-17 Rear tire size is 275/40 ZR-17The present mileage will probably go up because I still drive the vehicle occasionally.I am selling this because at 80 years old, I think I need something less powerful and (ha-ha!)easier to get in and out of!!Anybody requiring a test ride-no problem! If you need the vehicle delivered, I will not make arrangements, but I will work with your mover to the best of my ability. I am retired, so, it can be picked up anytime, day or night.
If you have any questions, please ask.Thank you for looking.
