1965 Porsche 356C Cabriolet; the Porsche 356 was first introduced in 1948 while being continually upgraded and modernized until the production run ended in 1965.
This 1965 Porsche 356C Cabriolet underwent a documented rotisserie restoration by many of the premier Porsche restorers and was completed in 1996. This 356 has an upgraded SC motor which was rebuilt by the "Maestro" Harry Pellow. The metal work was performed by Ken Kolbe and the paint work was completed by Meister Restorations. Originally Light Ivory this car is now finished in Ruby Red with a black interior and leather seats. The exterior and interior of this car are in fantastic condition. This car has been driven approximately 18,500 miles since the completion of the restoration, there maybe a few very minor flaws but you would have to search them out to notice.
Currently there is an appealing Les Leston steering wheel in the car but the sale will include a restored original wheel, it also features a SC tachometer, European heater, fog lights and Blaupunkt radio. As indicated on the Certificate of Authenticity this car has the rare factory installed Inside/Outside Thermometer.
