1976 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 Euro PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO HERE https://youtu.be/VWxo_htNtX4 FOR SALE is a very rare 1976 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.0 Euro. This is one of 1,093 built nationwide equipped with a 3.0-liter and was imported to the US from Germany sometime in the early 1980s. The factory offered the 3.0 with stronger aluminum cased engines creating much more torque and producing a very zippy 210 hp. Of course because of the torque Porsche installed a performance 915/49 five speed transmission. This vehicle came out of San Diego, CA. It has been here for as long as we know since it was imported to the USA. We purchased it from a collector, who unfortunately is sick and was required to sell it. This is a numbers matching car all around. It’s finished in silver over a black leather interior. The interior of this vehicle is in great condition. Exterior is in excellent condition. Paint is deep and glossy. The Carrera 3.0 by factory was equipped with amazing options such as flared wheel arches, European front and rear bumpers, headlight washers, wide Turbo Fuchs, unique deck lid and spoiler, finally the Carrera side decals. Watch the video to see the cosmetic condition. Mechanically it runs and drives well. The ride is smooth and sporty. The motor is healthy, sounds great and has plenty of power. Transmission shifts very well through all gears. The engine and transmission are matching numbers. Unfortunately, we do not have documentation for what was done in the past although the engine and transmission look absolutely flawless and I would assume have very few miles since a rebuild. They appear almost immaculate. Check it all out in the video. No known oil leaks. Breaks and clutch feel great. If you haven’t driven a euro 3.0L, this is unlike anything we have here. Clean title.
