West Coast Classics presents this great daily driving 1974 Porsche 911 5 speed 6 cyl coupe in a striking 'Metallic Silver' over 'Black' leatherette color combination!The first year of the 2.7L 911's in 1974 also introduced the world to the G- series body style, which were to retire the previous F body series cars and which would come to define all Porsche 911's until 1989.Equipped with a Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injected air cooled flat six cylinder engine fitted with larger heat exchangers and an upgraded aftermarket ignition module, matched to a 5 speed manual transmission, this 1974 example also boasts desirable 15" Fuchs wheels mounted on Pirelli P4 tires, Bilstein shocks, a 'Blaupunkt radio & speakers, and a Turbo style 'Whale Tail' rear spoiler!Ordered by an obvious sports car enthusiast factory delete of a sunroof, fog lights, power windows or air conditoning, this is a true 911 for the air cooled Porsche driving purist and enthusiast without any unnecessary accessories!Refinished in striking 'Metallic Silver' from its original special order 'Metallic Blue' factory paint with chrome window moldings and door handles, European style bumpers, pop out rear quarter windows, updated flag style mirrors and sunroof delete with a sporty slick roof!The car drives well and is in overall very fair condition with good paint and a very nicely presented Black leatherette interior. Please note that the car has been modified with a 'Whale tail' without the original tailgate being available. Please also note that the door panels and rear cabin have had after market speakers cut into them and the car has an after market radio, otherwise it is very original. The odometer reads 43,346 miles but the true mileage should be considered unknown. The car has its original spare wheel located in its rightful storage compartment under the hood.
