The rigid new structure retains the original VW pan designed by Dr Ferdinand Porsche and integrates the largest frame possible. Only these steel frame replica cars will pass the renown Jack Test which the original replicas would fail due to body flex. For over 25 years JPS Motorsports has been building award winning 356 speedsters and coupe replicas with now well over 400 satisfied customers around the world.The car has a VW air cooled engine and the car has a 1968 VW title which represents the manufactured year of the original donor pan, with most insurance companies including Hagerty Classic Auto Insurance and Allstate and 'Heacock Classic' all covering these replicas, and whose contact information is listed on our Finance page on our website.
