This 1977 Porsche 911 SC came out of storage about 3 years ago. I purchased the vehicle 1.5 years ago. The previous owner had been picking away at a couple electrical issues while enjoying the car The car currently starts up and drives, though the battery needs jumping and should probably be replaced.
Vehicle Details
Previous owner had disassembled the sunroof and both doors to play with the electronics. Driver doors has been reassembled and the electric window does work, though it’s slow. Passenger door has been partially reassembled, with the window working properly. Door must be opened from the exterior.
Sunroof has been removed and is currently not in place. All parts are still with the vehicle, but will need to be put back together. Have new front and rear seals.
Interior carpets have been replaced in front and rear.
Car needs to be turned over a couple times before it fires up. It drives well. It shifts through all gears smoothly.. Brakes work well. Oil changed last fall.
Battery needs to be jumped to start and does not maintain a charge for long. Battery should be changed.
There are a number of paint chips, and some dings around the body. No obvious signs of rust and no noticable damage.
Radio works, but only rear speakers are hooked up.
Windshield wipers do lot work.
AC condenser has been removed, but is still with the car.
Headliner is ok. Usual cracks in the plastic. Seats are serviceable, but there are some cracks and damage.
Speedometer doesn’t work.
Odometer stopped working under previous ownership. Believed to be around 110k-115k
