very restorable 1961 Porsche 356, clean chassis overall, engine complete

1961 Porsche 356 Additional Info:

1963 Porsche 356 T5 coupe; Restoration Service Available
True classic 356S model with engine and most parts for restoration.
As a restoration company we looked at from an objective eye and found a better than average solid project.

Lets dig in!
Chassis from front:Inner battery box appears to still be all original with correct orginal tar paper style insulation.Battery box floor and sides which are usually rotted or repaired appears original alsoRear engine bay is in overall good condition also.
Pans have been changed, Some finish work still required on some perimeter to finish correctly. Will need prep.
Body:is overall pretty decent. Front nose appears to be original., rockers, doors, rear quarters all in overallgood condition. The next step would be to blast or dip to start with all fresh metal, seal up. Door datestamps are correct and appear to be original.
Engine:1964 356C engine turns over by hand, is complete, appears to be correct with oem style voltage reg. andfuel pump. Many times the later computer voltage reg or electric pump fitted to these cars but don't work as wellor look correct. Oil still looks good, If requested we can put some fresh gas and see if she wants to idle.
Gas TankStamped date code correct 62 on bottom left with a very nice to see clean inside.
ColorHave not located the tag, It appears to be original color on the dash which matches under and inside the doors.Will a COA can verify but appears to be Smyrna Green, kind of a dark Blue/Green color.
Brakes and SuspensionFactory drum brakes will need to be inspected for restoration back to original operation. If desired the Front brakes could bechanged to disks, a conversion we have done several times.

InteriorWill need headliner, door panels, rear inner quarters, seats recovered/replaced. Also needs a new carpet set.Most or all handles, pulls, interior chrome trims are included wrapped up.
BumpersNewly re-chromed or new reproduction bumperettes are included as are original steel bumpers.
Some glass will be needed and is available. May need one window regulator....about if, what questions we can answer for you?
