1987 Porsche 911 Additional Info:

This 1987 Porsche 911 Carerra is finished in Grand Prix White over a black interior, and it is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a 5-speed manual G50 transaxle. Updates include Porsche Boxster front brake calipers, and a 930S style steering wheel. Additional equipment includes a power-operated sunroof, 17″ Kinesis Motorsport K27 wheels, and a Blaupunkt CD/MP3 player stereo. The car resided in New Jersey, New York and Texas prior to the seller’s purchase in 2004 moved it to New Hampshire where it has been maintained and garaged for the last sixteen year, and now shows 191k miles. This 911 Carerra is offered with service records, a tool kit, owners manual as well as the original warranty and maintenance booklet.
The body is finished in Grand Prix White and features front and rear spoilers, a sunroof, cruise control, intermittent wipers, central locks, and integrated front fog lights. The windshield was replaced in 2004 due to a crack, and the headlight trim and front bumper shows some stone chips. The body was resprayed by a prior owner in the original color at some point. Some surface rust is evident at the rear of the rocker panels.
Staggered-width 17″ Kinesis Motorsport K27 wheels, 7.5” wide in front and 9” wide in the rear, are wrapped in Bridgestone RE71 tires measuring 215/45 up front and 255/40 out back. Porsche Boxster brake calipers are fitted at the front with adapters from Paragon Products, and Bilstein B6 Performance shocks were fitted front and rear at 185k. The original front brake calipers are available with the car.
The cabin features seats trimmed in black leather with matching carpets protected by floor mats, along with a black leather-trimmed dashboard and black leather door panels. Amenities include power-adjustable front drivers seat, air conditioning (complete, but non-functional), and a Blaupunkt Monte Carlo MP34 Radio/CD/MP3 player. An aftermarket leather 930S steering wheel is installed, the original steering wheel will be offered with the car.
Factory VDO instrumentation consisting of a 7k-rpm tachometer and a 170-mph speedometer, along with gauges for fuel level, oil temperature, oil level, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 191k miles, approximately 20k of which were added by the seller. The speedometer was recently refurbished by North Hollywood Speedometer. Safety equipment includes a fire extinguisher mounted on a Rennline passenger seat rail bracket.
The naturally aspirated 3.2L flat-six was rebuilt at 171k using high quality components including, heavy-duty 993 type cylinder head studs, JE Pistons, ARP rod bolts, WebCam 20/21cams, WebCam hard welded rocker arms, and a 911Chips sport chip. Engine machine work documentation from R&L engines in New Hampshire is included. The engine appears completely original from the outside.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle with a hydraulic clutch; a desirable option on G-Series 911s. The clutch and CV joints were replaced at 156k.
The engine and transmission tag numbers match the VIN number listed on the chassis at the windshield pillar and the front tub.
