About this vehicleThis 1966 Porsche 912 is an original. The owner has had it for 5+ years. The vehicle runs great and is mainly used for weekend drives.Seller's Notes66 Porsche 912 5 speed-body in good shape with very few signs of rust-engine runs good-mechanically and electrically in order. I purchased this car 11 years ago with intentions to restore “one day”. It was in primer when purchased and had been somewhat disassembled for paint. Apparently the body shop went out of business and the car was returned. The previous owner stored it in his shop in this condition for 20+ years. I painted the car myself and it’s not great. At the time I wanted to drive it and didn’t want it in primer. The door jambs tell the truth. It is an original Irish green car which can be seen under the hood. I have inter door handles and most of the parts not shown in the photos as well as a number of additional parts which will also come with it. Photos tell the story.ExteriorFloor pans are good with only a small pin hole here and there. Empi “Fuchs”.InteriorOnly real signs of rust that I have found are in the door jambs as shown in the photos. According to the VIN, it is actually a 65 car!EngineWeber carbs with adapter to allow original air filters (by previous mechanic owner).
