1971 Porsche 911 ST Backdate Additional Info:
1971 Porsche 911ST Backdate. Vin 678-276-7045. Odometer Displays 77,960 Miles (TMU). 2.2L Motor (6106919). 5-Speed Manual (901). Albert Blue. Orange Leather Interior Imported From Italy! Steel flares. Service Records, Certificate of Authenticity, 2-Keys, Tools, Spare and a Jack. This ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS 911 Outlaw comes in the superb “Singer-like” colors of Albert Blue on a Signal Orange Leather Interior. The idea was to make this car stand out just like the Singer cars do with their vivid color combination that lights up the road and makes them one of a kind! The interior has been upgraded from Beige to Signal Orange Leather, which has been special ordered from Italy and properly fitted at a total cost of $4,000. The seats, the door panels, as well as the strip along the dash have been converted, with the sole purpose of the car standing out. New Coco Mats have also been provided for this vehicle. In 2014 the car underwent a transformation, both cosmetic and mechanical, and there is a great stack of receipts for all the parts. The Albert Blue paint is in superb condition and this 911 turns heads everywhere it travels. The total cost of the bare metal paint job was over $23,000. There is nothing like it on our southern hot Georgia roads. The interior is super nice as well, making it an absolutely beautiful and striking Porsche!. To bring this 911 to the top condition that it deserved, the car underwent a thorough mechanical refurbishment before being offered up for sale. This included a complete engine rebuild, plus a great deal of other repairs and maintenance, totaling over $17,000! We installed 911 E cams and JE high compression pistons. The car is now extremely quick and responsive, making it a dream to drive! The car cranks right up, and the motor revs to the red line with ease! It stands firm on the road and handles the corners with ease! The shifting is smooth and the clutch engages properly. The car brakes hard and does not pull to either side under hard braking pressure. This 911 is fitted with brand new Braid RSR style wheels, with 7x15's at the front, and 9x15's at the rear ($3,309 in total for the wheels). They are mounted with new Hoosier slick tires. The car will be fitted with proper street tires before leaving our facility. The Hoosier's will be included if desired for Porsche Club of America driving events. These long-hood, backdated specimens are taking the market by storm, and can bring unimaginable prices! A well sorted 911S in a unique and likable color combination will always stand out above the rest, and this particular example is one of those cars! Collector car financing available at competitive rates.
