1985.5 PORSCHE 944 COUPE IN GUARDS RED!

1985 Porsche 944 Additional Info:

This is an extremely nice survivor 944. The car was purchased from a family member and carefully maintained by its elderly second owner for over 10 years. Every gallon of gas that was put in the car was recorded and mileage calculated in a logbook! The car has apparently been garaged all it's life and the receipts of all maintenances and services are included in the sale. The records confirm the actual mileage accumulated on the car. It was professionally refinished once by the previous owner in the original Guards Red - not due to any damage - but to keep the car looking factory fresh. The interior shows no wear or fading of the carpets or leather. The original dash has no cracking whatsoever.
Everything functions perfectly - just as it left the factory, including the AC system and the electric pull-down/removable sunroof. I can furnish any and all photos of the car upon request. This is a standard model so it does not have the cost and complexity of a turbocharger system, It is not "fast" by today's standards, but it is plenty quick and a pure joy to drive. Recent services such as the timing belt set replacement and oil seals have been completed and all receipts go with the car. In short, this car is cosmetically and mechanically excellent.

Some Porsche models have gone "out of sight", but 944s are still affordable and examples this nice will continue to enjoy robust appreciation. Kids in college...time to go!...Jay
