This is an original, early 1979 911SC in desirable PETROL blue/tan with only 86k original miles selling at NO RESERVE. This car was born in dry Southern CA and later resided in the dry Texas climate. Completely rust-free and zero accidents. The beautiful color, 376-9-3, Petrol blue is very desirable and not seen often. It complements the tan interior beautifully too. The car was repainted about 8 years ago. The paint is very nice with no orange peel. There are a few normal paint chips throughout and one noticeable one on the right side fender next to the hood. Original paint still in all the door jambs, engine compartment, and trunk. The interior is very clean with newer carpet. Car is optioned with electric windows. The heat works well except it likes to stay on. The car starts immediately up from stone cold every single time with no smoke or hesitation. It idles perfect, and leaks no oil. The warm up regulator works, as it should. The engine is VERY strong. It pulls extremely strong up to redline (the early 78-79 911SCs had bigger intake runners). Shifts smooth. The rear cv joint makes some noise when it's rolling so may need to replaced. Brakes very strong and straight. It has 4 new tires on it that were put on in the last year alone. The car glues to the road like on rails. All the suspension rubbers are in good shape and make the car very pleasant to drive with no rattles or shakes. The original targa top is in nice shape but will leak some water when you roll it through a high-pressure car wash (just did!). The radio doesn't turn on (typical), and antenna is bent. The engine compartment and front trunk is very tidy and clean. The car is accompanied with its original spare, owner’s manual, original key with original wheel lock key, some receipts, inspection reports, and free and clear title. These early 911SCs in desirable colors are excellent SCs to buy and offer tremendous value for aircooled 911s. Please feel free to ask any questions. Car is to be sold as-is, where-is and remember it will be selling at No Reserve-highest bidder wins the auction.
