1975 Porsche 911 original paint Additional Info:

This is a very original 1975 911S coupe in desirable Peru red. It has 80k original miles and half the car is still original paint. All #s matching with COA included. The interior is 100% original minus front seat inserts and Blaupunkt radio. All the carpet (only 1974 and 1975 911s had this unique polyester nylon carpet and is irreplaceable) is entirely original and in perfect condition. The headliner is in excellent shape. The dash is rare tan with 2 cracks, otherwise very straight and not warped or faded. The steering wheel and gauges are all original and function nicely. All lights work as they should. The car is so original even the solid one piece door rubbers are original, and not the later tube style rubbers. The front trunk is mega clean. Mechanically the car is incredible-fully serviced and runs & drives spectacular. It starts right up, idles perfect, no smoke or oil leaks- as a good serviced, low mileage example should. These early 2.7Ss have serious power! The gearbox shifts like butter. New clutch cable installed a few weeks ago. Brakes perfect. 4 brand new Bridgestone Potenza tires recently installed too. The paint is incredibly nice including half the original single stage paint. Sure there are a few chips that can be found but considering the car is over 40 years old, it looks spectacular. No rust except some minor bubbles on front fender but very minor. Floors and underneath are solid. Optional rear pop-out quarter windows. Chrome option. Comes complete with the original toolkit, spare, and jack. Original maintenance logbook/service book with the original owners name, address, and original dealer with service stamps included.
Original midyears are very, very hard to come by because so many were neglected over the years. This example has stood the test of time and been very well maintained and has remained unmodified or neglected. Additionally, early (1974 & 1975) 911s are more desirable to the later 76' and 77' 911s because these early ones share a lot of of the parts and characteristics of the early longhood 911s. You can argue they are more of the "pure" midyears that scream 1970s craziness. With that being said and this car being in a desirable color, Peru red, this car is an excellent investment grade 911 that is one of the best purchases for a true classic air-cooled 911. I have a free and clear title. I also have more pictures I can send. Please feel free to ask me any questions that you have.
