1992 Porsche 968 Additional Info:

Garage kept and beautiful 968 with rare early recessed front insignia. Car owned originally by wife of Porsche dealer, hen Porsche technician. Third owner I purchased from was PCA concours judge.
Original car with 116k well-loved miles. Excellent mechanical condition, ith all major service done within last 200 miles to include:
- Rear/front wheel bearings replace, epack, ew seals.
- Dis-assemble axle half-shafts, lean, e-pack with Swepco 101, ew boots.
- New spark plugs, ew Mahle oil filter with 6 qts. Mobil 1 10W40 full synthetic motor oil. New fuel filter, eplace rubber brake hoses with DOT approved stainless steel hoses, lush and bleed brake system with ATE Type 200 DOT 4 fluid. Zimmerman rotors and new pads on all four corners done recently. Tires are almost new.
- New Gates timing and balance shaft belts, eplace camshaft chain, nd cam tensioner pads and related seals and gaskets; set cam timing. New valve cover gasket, nd rubber seals for valve cover bolts. Replace rubber seals for spark plug tubes. Replace front control arm ball joint boots.
- New windshield, C compressor, nd rebuilt steering rack in 2013. Convertible top is new and functions flawlessly, lthough relay has been modified so that top can be activated while driving slowly. Car drives beautifully and tracks straight. Burns no oil of course and revs great. Move gearshift over to manual gate, nd Tiptronic transmission shifts crisply. Transmission functions properly in all gears with no shaft play at all.
I have yet to see one oil drop from this car. All books, riginal spare, ir compressor, nd toolkit in excellent condition. Car has original paint and is showing a few minor dents and dings and rock chips as to be expected from a car of this age. Paint looks fine, ut a re-spray of nose panel, nd stone guards that run along undersides of car would do wonders. Interior is good, eats show some wear and carpet has faded slightly. Coco mats for the front. I believe AC could use a re-charge, nd the rear 968 Factory plastic badge was removed because it was cracked. A new one needs to be ordered from Porsche and installed. Otherwise, verything works on this car including the original outside temp gauge and factory clock.
Car located in my gated, uarded, nclosed storage garage in Baltimore, D. This car needs nothing mechanically, nd I wouldn't hesitate to suggest a new owner should fly into Baltimore Washington Airport and drive it home to anywhere - I'll even pick you up and take you to the car. Unlike the 944 and 944 Turbo series, hich was assembled at the Audi plant and are fine cars, 68s were assembled in Porsche's own factory in Zuffenhausen, long side the 928 GT/GTS and 911 993 models of the day. They are beautifully built machines, nd I hesitate to sell this car, intended to keep it and enjoy it, ut a real estate deal has presented itself and I need $$. Clear Maryland title.

Car can sit enclosed where it is for a couple of weeks if necessary, hile pick-up or shipping arrangements are finalized.
Update - car is still showing a minor accident to right front fender in FL. Previous owner challenged Carfax on this and said car was never in FL. I inspected that area of the car top and bottom with a spotlight and found no evidence of an accident whatsoever. Additionally, believe the car had three previous owners, ot four.
