1974 Porsche 914 Targa Additional Info:
It is time to let one go! This has been a fun car to drive, but I have my eye on another project. I have the maintenance records dating back to 2012 as well as a new dash cover that will come with the vehicle. The odometer is inoperable and stuck on 98, 291, hence the listing of 100K on the post. Hagertyinsurance website is whatI always use to value antique sports cars and it gives the best description and value that I have found. This car is definitely a #4 (see description below or go to their website) rated car based on Hagerty's ratings. It can use some body work, but it runs great and would be a great project for someone that has the time and the means. I do have this listed locally and it is subject to prior sell. I do hold the right to cancel the auction at any time.
Happy bidding!
#4 vehicles are daily drivers, with flaws visible to the naked eye. The chrome might have pitting or scratches, the windshield might be chipped. Paintwork is imperfect, and perhaps the body has a minor dent. Split seams or a cracked dash, where applicable, might be present. No major parts are missing, but the wheels could differ from the originals, or other non- stock additions might be present. A #4 vehicle can also be a deteriorated restoration. "Fair" is the one word that describes a #4 vehicle.
