1989 Porsche 928 S4 offered for sale in excellent condition with just over 73,000 miles. The car was purchased new in Ohio and remained there until I brought the car to Louisiana in 2015. This car is always garaged and has been very well maintained. The car includes a very extensive service history with receipts and documentation dating back to 1989 when the car was new. Most recently, the car received a $9,000 major service in 2015 at around 71,000 miles. This included a timing belt and water pump, intake refresh and transmission service. Crankshaft endplay was also checked and a Ritech Flexplate clamp was installed in 2015 as well. The car drives beautifully. I also had new leather front seat covers from Classic 9 Leather Shop installed. The interior is in excellent condition overall, with only a small crack on dash and a few near the defroster vents that can be seen in photos. There are no cracks at all on the binnacle. Previous owner had the A/C system rebuilt which blows cold and has rear air option. All systems in the car work as they should. Original head unit has been replaced with a later model Blaupunkt with IPod jack concealed in center console. The original Porsche CD-2 radio has been retained and is included with the car. Paint looks to be original and has a nice shine and presents very well. There are some tiny road pecks on the front bumper and hood that I cannot pick up with my camera but can be seen if you are right up on them. There is also a blemish on the edge of the passenger quarter window that has been touched up, and can be seen in one of the photos. All glass is excellent, including headlight and fog light lenses. Tool kit is complete, and also includes tire inflator compressor and spare which looks to have never been mounted. Tires show little wear with lots of tread remaining. Overall, this is a beautiful, original car that has been properly maintained and is ready to be enjoyed, having all of the typical 928 concerns already taken care of. I have tried to describe the car as accurately and honestly as possible, and would be happy to answer any questions so please feel free to contact me. Also, please let me know if anyone would like photos of a particular area of the car not posted here.
