1974 Porsche 914 Additional Info:
1974 Porsche 914 slope nose with chevy small block 350. Crate engine so thinking about 325HP with the minimal HP stuff. Set up as track car for HPDE. Completely sorted, ready to run. 69K miles. It was a total track car, I've made it street legal but you have to open the headlights manually and the directionals work by switches. If you don't want to open the headlights, the driving lights would suffice. Good tires, five lug wheels. Headers through cherry bombs, if it makes reserve and you want to be crazy, can include a set of zoomie style headers for it. (pictured) It's a Renegade 944 conversion package, that's about all I know about the engine swap. (and that knowledge is just from receipts) If you've never done track events it's a great car to start with and the power, weight and handling also allows the veteran to run with the big boys and pass much more pricey cars. (And if you blow the engine, it's a crate engine, not an expensive porsche) Keep in mind even though street legal (in this state) there's no AC, heat, smog equip, air bags and it is sprung up for the track, so the ride is super stiff. (and noisy)
