1974 Porsche 911 911S Additional Info:

I tough decision had to be made when I had to chose among my car collection, which one had to go first. Since my restoration shop is not finished yet and the rest of my cars are in need of restoration, this was the only one that would allow me to get started with the rest. Ok, this is a very clean 1974 911S that has the wide body and the slant nose metal front fenders. The car is accident free and rust free. Very unusual for a car like this and for a classic this age. The car is complete, but many parts need to be installed. I spent 8 years gathering everything to complete the restoration. Many of the parts are not even available now days. Since this was going to be my favorite car among all, it has had a lot of love and my best efforts to do the work on each area or system. The engine was completely redone when I got it, but I have not yet driven this beast. When I got it the car had been dissembled for a paint job and kept like this after the paint job for years. When I took it home I started to put it together and made all the lists of what was missing. This car has new mag wheels, tires, drilled rotors, rear shocks, head lights, upgraded power seats, cleaned gas tank, starter and all filters and oil. The battery was new but that was 8 years ago. The car came with the wale tail but I liked it better with out it and with the rear deck lid grill. I saved it and it is included and already painted black as the rest of the car. The interior comes with the white gauges on the dash the door panels are dark tan the seats are black leather. The car has been on jack stands and off the ground since I own it. It is now at a storage facility on jack stands with layers and layers of dust on it. The color of the rims is a combination of a special textured paint with black and copper, same one used on the side metal fins on both sides. The doors close solid and the hatch too. The hood needs the latch installed. Has the alloy red slim spare and the compact rim that fits in the front. Both come with it. This car is not a lemon. This car is for someone who wants a car for many years, rust free, accident free and solid. The new heat ex-changers seem to require longer studs, even tho they are in place. I was designing a fuel pressure regulator system, but never installed it. All parts included. The side bumpers are also included. I liked it more with out them. If you have been hunting for a 911 of this era, make sure you come see this one. The car has never been a race car or a track car. You know how those cars do have stress areas that may compromise safety and a s mood ride. The title is from the state of New York and all the numbers match. You will need a trailer or an enclosed trailer ramps or a service to come and get it out for you of the storage unit where it is now. You can see other wheels and tires near by the car that were there for storage, but are not from this car. You will not find a car like this very easy. I looked for almost two years before I found it. There are many other 911 Porsche's out there that have been driven hard and may look good but when you see how easy the cost of replacing worn parts on this cars adds up, you will end up paying more for a lemon 911. I will show by appointment if the serious buyer wants to come see the car. You can also buy it now, but the payment must clear before you can plan getting it picked up. Ask me any questions you may have before buying it. I will do my best to answer them. I understand this cars very well. Thanks for looking and Good Luck.
