1970 Pontiac Grand Prix Model J Additional Info:
Relisted due to complications with the original auction and a hacked account.
Up for sale is my 1970 Pontiac Grand Prix Model J with a
Pontiac 400 4 barrel automatic dual exhaust. It's a true base model with no a/c, roll up windows. With no options at all, it also means that there is nothing to screw up. Gas gauge works great. There is some bondo on driver side quarter which isn't from rust but seems to be from a very old dent repair. Tires are great. Drives with one finger control. Absolute easy daily driver. This is a west coast car that has no rust. Paint is mostly original and thin. This car is a fantastic driver that can be driven anywhere. Smooth, strong and drives and stopsfantastic.
I bought this car in June of 2014 and drove it sparingly over the past two summers. Previous owner went through this car to make it a reliable daily driver.Rebuilt transmission with approximately 1000 miles on it with receipt. Engine seems to have been done, but I don't see any receipts. Folder full of receipts including new carburetor, complete brakes from booster back, high torque starter, headliner, tune ups, etc. Has original protect-o-plate. Just a great every day classic driver thatalways gets thumbs up.
The speedometer takes a while to settle in even though the cable isnew. Trunk seal leaks so as in the picture there is surface rust only.Has been in storage since I've owned it. Just hooked up the battery and she fired right up. Feel free to ask any questions and you can have someone come look at the car also. As with any 40+ year old car, this is sold as is.
Buyer needs to send PayPal deposit of 500 dollars within 24 hours of auction end. Balance to be received within seven days in the form of certified or cashier’s check. All funds must clear before vehicle is released. Buyer is responsible for all shipping.
Car is for salelocally, so the seller reserves the right to end auction early.A great driver that is ready to drive anywhere today! Thanks for looking.Note: For the Pontiac enthusiast who selects the "Buy It Now" option, I will include quite a number of 1970 Grand Prix related materials including:
