1969 Pontiac GTO GTO Judge Additional Info:
I am listing my 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge. This is a real Judge with lots of documentation. This car is a factory Carousel red with white interior and a factory Cordova top. I have been told from some GTO experts that there were only 50-75 Cordova top Judges made and maybe even less. From that information and that when some people restored these Judges they removed the Cordova tops which makes the number or Judges out there with Cordova tops still one even less. I have been told maybe less that 15. There is some history notes with the documentation on this Judge that tells about the car being ordered by a Doctor and at that time they thought it was the only one with a factory Cordova top installed on it. I am no expert on the Judges but the information that I have is pretty interesting. So if you take the low number of Cordova top Judges made and than have the Carousel red color with ordered white interior, the 4 speed, Wheel well Delete car, Safety T-track differentials, factory console and the factory hide away headlights option it might truly make this car one of one Carousel Judges made in 1969. Documentation I have are restoration receipts, window stickers, PHS Documentation, some old written letters about the history of the Judge and the factory original build sheet that was found in the car. Other information on the car that I have been told by previous owners is that it has a 455 NOM in it now but era correct as well as the heads which I think are 1970. I have tried to look but I am not a Pontiac expert. The previous owner of 10 years had took really good care of the car. I am aware that the car had had two new quarter panels installed on it but I think the rest of the metal is original to the car but once again I am not a body expert but the floors, doors, trunk fenders all look good to me. Very clean underside and the car was disassembled when it was restored. The car also has a new hood tach that works and everything else on the car seems to work great including the hideaway headlights which is a really cool option. Even the clock works. The car runs and drives great. I see no rust issues anywhere. There have been a few chips touched up and I think a few cracks in the nose piece which I understand is very common. The paint is very shinny and lays nice and flat with no orange peel that I see anywhere. There are a few marks in the Judge side stripe which I think would be fixed with a new decal. I just couldnt decide to leave the original blue decals which are correct or change it to the black so I just left it alone. There are a few scratches in the drivers rear glass nothing major but worth mentioning. The white interior shows very nice but it is white and not brand new so there are a few marks but still looks great with this color combo. . The car is eye catcher anywhere I go and people love seeing these cars out since they are rare. It cruises down the road great and sounds nice as well. The underside looks nice and clean and I think it has had a new recent gas tank installed as well and exhaust. Currently the car has aftermarket wheels on the car. I have the original 14 inch rally II rims that will go one the car I just couldn't decide if I wanted to put white letter tires or red lines on it I can work out something with the winning bidder. Please feel free to email me or call me with questions. I have listed quite a few pictures but if you need anything else please let me know.
