1978 Pontiac Trans Am Additional Info:

1978 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am with a blueprint stroker 496 7.3L 611HP V8 engine Resto-Mod.This is a beautiful 47-year-old vehicle has no rust whatsoever.Complete frame-off restoration completed in 2000.New GM full quarter panels and rear body panel.New outer wheel houses, trunk floor extensions.New front fenders and front cover. All new GM flares and front spoiler.Hardwood fiberglass hood. The body was stripped, and Glassurit epoxy primer was applied; all body work was done with Glassurit high build primer, body was block sanded and re-primed with Glassurit high build primer. The body was sanded and painted with Glassurit base coat and clear coat, then re-sanded a week later, and two more coats of clear were applied to give it a deep finish.Blueprint stroker 496 engine that sells for $12K new.400 Turbo Transmission with shift kit.New OEM Flywheel.3.73 Posi traction rear end.Edelbrock headers and exhaust.Holly fuel injector kit.New starter motor.New cooling fans.New wiring throughout.New halo headlights.LED strips in the interior and underneath the vehicle.New interior black carpet and new back seats to match factory that have never been used.Front power seats are out of a 1990 300ZX.A battery relocation kit is installed in the trunk to add excellent traction and takeoff.Fuel pump cutoff switch next to the shifter.Centerline scorpion aluminum rims with Cooper cobra tires. It is close to being completely restored. The new headliner needs to be glued in (new headliner included). A new dash cover (optional) will be included. Also comes with two sets of T-tops as one panel of the two sets is cracked. It will make a great racer with the high HP, battery in the trunk, and a fuel pump cut-off switch next to the shifter but still keeps the look and feel of a daily driver (no roll cage). The vehicle has been sitting in my garage for the past three years; it will need a new battery, and all fluids changed, oil, gas, trans, and coolant. The car does have a trans fluid leak. When we replaced the flywheel, we were having difficulties with the lineup, and I would bet that is where the leak is coming from. It's not a severe leak in my opinion, it can and was driven with the leak. The car ran great before being parked three years ago. The video of it running was taken before the vehicle was parked in my garage three years ago. This car was very loved and is only being sold as it was my late husband's new baby and has been sitting in the garage since his passing three years ago, he only had it one year and drove it the 300 miles in that one year. I know he would not want the car to just sit, it needs to be loved and driven! This beauty should be worth $45K-$49K, especially with the Blueprint stroker 496 engine that is $12K new, asking less since (to the best of my knowledge) it needs the work mentioned above.Clean and clear title in hand and in my name!
