1976 Pontiac Trans Am. 455. 4 Speed. C&C T tops. AC. Odometer reads 51,964 miles. This car was customized in 1978 with custom molded bumpers, wheel flares, mag wheels, and custom paint. The car is in need of restoration, but is a very solid, almost rust free car. Floors and truck are solid. The worst spot of rust is on the drivers lower front fender and door which can be seen in the last photo. The bumpers and flares were molded to the car, but look like they could be removed fairly easily. The car does start and run but misfires and backfires. It is also getting water in the oil. Seems to me like a head gasket problem, but not sure. The previous owner had an electrical problem which caused the dome light to catch fire and burn the headliner, shoulder harness part of the seat belts, and rear seat. There was no serious damage.
