1965 Pontiac Grand Prix Additional Info:

1965 Pontiac Grand Prix with 37,900 original miles. 3rd owner. Unrestored with minor modifications. Mostly original paint. This is truly a gentleman's muscle car. Looks, smells and runs as it did in 1965. Definitely showable or drive anywhere. I've had it at local shows, and it gets a lot of attention. Dealer installed under dash air works great on R12. Everything works on the car, including all the interior lights and trunk lights. 333 horsepower with 3 speed turbo 400 hydramatic automatic runs smooth and the 389 starts right up, cold or hot. Optional Pontiac 8 lug wheels with 11 inch drum brakes. Column shift with bench seat, which is a very rare option since buckets were standard. This is motor trend's 1965 car of the year, and is the exact color combination as the car used on the cover. Modern upgrades include a Sirius XM CD player, dual exhaust, electric fuel pump and 3 core aluminum radiator. Pictures look good, but it looks better in person. Must drive to appreciate. A Short Story I wrote about this amazing car:

There's something about classic cars that just takes your breath away. The style, the elegance, the power - they embody an era when driving was an experience.

The exceptional example in front of us, a 1965 Grand Prix, is a true embodiment of a bygone era. It has not been refurbished, but rather meticulously cared for its whole life, allowing the driver to relive a time when mobile phones, GPS, and cup holders were non-existent luxuries. A time when driving meant actually feeling the road and steering the car with your own two hands.

This car isn't just a mode of transportation - and actually, it never was. It is, and always has been, a beautiful work of art. Its lines and curves flow together in perfect harmony like a sculpture in a gallery. Its design is pleasing to the eye, like a beautiful painting that captivates the viewer's imagination. The smooth and curvy contours of the side of this Grand Prix resemble the graceful profile of a reclining woman, enticing you to admire every detail, evoking emotion with its sheer beauty.

When you take the wheel of this remarkable 38,000 mile survivor, you're not just driving a car - you're transported back to experience a different era. A piece of history that deserves to be treasured and admired for its originality, and its place in history. The design of the dashboard is reminiscent of the timeless faces of luxury watches. The sensation of the original vinyl seats, the aroma of the leaded gasoline, and the roar of the 389 engine, all merge together to create an unforgettable journey through time.

As you caste your eyes upon this car, you can't help but wonder: Who was the original owner? What was their personality like? What type of music filled the airwaves from this very radio? Were they a refined gentleman, a savvy businessman, or perhaps a devoted family man? In any case, it's undeniable that he had excellent taste.

So if you're someone who appreciates the finer things in life, who loves the thrill of the open road and that feeling of freedom you get that comes with it, then this 1965 Grand prix is for you.
