All numbers matching, unmolested, complete 1974 GTO Hatchback 3 speed Muncie trans. There were 687 hatchback manual’s produced in 1974. This car being a 3 speed is very unique. The car is a 2 owner and was only on the road for 7 years tallying 55,000 miles in that short time. It spent the rest of its life on a blacktop parking lot until about 2016. It is 100% complete, original and numbers matching with the exception of the headers, scoop (trans am scoop in place) and traction bars. The original owner street raced this car in the mid to late 1970’s. The engine is set seized, the trans is not. When I bought the car the engine was complete. I disassembled the accessories to get to the crank pulley to attempt to spin it over. There is rust present but it looks worse than it actually is. The rear frame rails are solid (that’s why I bought the car and didn’t pass on it when I found it).She needs work but is 100% complete and untouched. Even the hose clamps under the hood are original. I have 4 of these 1974’s so if accessibility of parts scares you I can help. Rust wise, it will need passenger side lower 1/4, hatch repair, front floor pan patches, front lower fender patches (small), cowl patch (small), tail panel. Metal is very cheap for these cars as they are interchangeable with X body Nova. I have an extra scoop off of another car that I would sell for $300 to the person that buys my car (no I will not sell it for $300 to just anybody so don't ask. $300 is a steal for a scoop and I am trying to help the person who buys my car.)
