1979 Pontiac Trans Am Additional Info:

Fresh build on a rust free non T top Trans Am. 420hp Crate 350 with forged pistons and crank. Scorpion aluminum heads. Crane 272 cam with Pete Jackson gear drive. Roller tip rockers. Polished air gap intake with a 650 Edelbrock Competition Series carburetor. Ceramic coated 3/4 length headers for ground clearance. New HEI distributor. March ProTrack polished aluminum serpentine belt system with modern GM type 2 power steering pump. Champion aluminum radiator with dual 14in fans. X pipe exhaust system with turbo mufflers. Interior has new red leather. 3 full hides were used for seats, sides of seats, steering wheel, visors, center armrest so all would match perfectly. New carpet. New seat belts and retractors. All new weatherstripping. Vintage Air all new 134a modern AC system. Sony CD stereo with hidden speakers, no butchered doors or kick panels. Suspension has welded in round subframe connectors for ground clearance. Competition Performance Products tubular steel front control arms with new poly bushings and ball joints. Viking aluminum coil overs with adjustable height and rebound settings. Factory front sway bar is powder coated and has poly bushings and Heim end links. Rear sway bar is larger than factory and powder coated and has new poly bushings. Paint is new 2 stage base coat/clearcoat in Guards Red. Even tail lights are new! Wheels are new Trans Am 17x9 and rears are wide 315-35s. Factory posi rear with recent Richmond 373 gears. There is not another Trans Am like this in the country for under $50k.
