1970 Pontiac GTO Additional Info:

Selling our 1970 Pontiac GTO, this is a true original muscle car that runs and drives but needs the obvious body repairs and restoration. Due to the work needed,this will be a NO RESERVE auction, high bid owns it! I have clean California title in hand and no back registration is due if it stays in California.
The stock original V8 engine sounds excellent, has plenty of power and the automatic transmission shifts smooth thru all gears. This GTO will need a water pump (leaks) and the ignition switch replaced as it must be started under the hood, column switch does not work. This GTO is fully loaded and equipped with both factory A/C, P/S and Disc brakes.
Please view the detailed pictures I have taken, I would like the buyer to understand the cosmetic flaws and work needed, it is a worthwhile running project but does need a complete cosmetic restoration. Repairs needed include pretty much the entire driver side panels, lower valance and rear bumper/lights. There are also a few rust spots, the worst being the hood, all the others are minor.... behind the right rear wheel and passenger fender heel (see pics). The undercarriageitself is totally solid and rust free. All glass is in good shape, clean and clear. Tires are brand new, I just replaced them along with the battery when we took it out of storage. Interior is all there and factory original but needs totally redone (see pics).This GTO is stored in Moreno Valley, California, 92551 near March Air Base.

UPDATE:I received several requests regarding the undercarriage/floor condition so we put the GTO up on the rack and took pics, the undercarriage/floors are very solid and rust free, however, we also removed the liner in the trunk and discovered there is a rust hole and it will need repaired. I have pics to send on both.
