The previous owner has the original paperwork from the sales floor and ALWAYS kept it in a climate control garage & 100% original. You’ll be pleased to know this ‘70 Formula has never seen rain since its restoration & has never been in an accident, flood, or natural disaster. This Firebird is new! Running Condition

The running condition of this Firebird is excellent. The motor fires right up with no hesitation. This car just purrs very smoothly at idle. The transmission shifts through all gears just like it should even kicks down as you want it to when you step on the gas. All of the suspension is nice and tight. The car does not overheat, does not smoke or make any funny noise. The drivetrain does not leak or burn any oil thanks to the previous owner always servicing the Firebird regularly.

Paint & Body

This car has been garage kept all its life since its restoration. The body is in excellent condition, & still has all of its original body panels. There is no rust anywhere on this car. There are a few small scratches on the hood and bumper as seen in the video. You can refer to the pictures of this time capsule and can confirm the Body is nice without any dents or abnormal body lines from 55+ years. The door jambs look exceptional. The paint shines well and looks amazing. This Formula 400 is the conversation piece in a car show.

Interior

The interior is in excellent condition, no one has ever sat in the backseat. This Formula 400 is even equipped with the RARE center console. The dash has no cracks and is wrapped nicely with no warping of any kind. The door panels are nice and solid, and both the carpet and top are in excellent shape. The carpet has never been touched as the car always had floor mats over the carpet. All the lights & gauges work. The powered seats are so plush it’s as if you will be driving away from the dealership in 1970.

Glass & Trim

All of the glass is original, still in excellent condition with no cracks. All the rubber seals are in a new condition, zero dry rot. The door glass does not sag when doors are opened.

Undercarriage & Trunk

The undercarriage is in excellent condition— no rust anywhere, no patchwork or repair work that has been done on the underside or trunk compartment of this car. The trunk compartment is rust free. This is a very solid and rust free car. The entire trunk build took an immense amount of time to be perfected to the collectors standards.

Wheels & Tires

The wheels are 1971 Honeycomb wheels in excellent shape. The tires are BFGoodrich in great condition, but we recommend changing to be ready for summer.
