1964 Pontiac Le Mans convertible Additional Info:
1964 Pontiac Le Mans convertible 326V8 4 Speed manual transmission, Posi-Track rear end. Condition is Used.
This is a head turner and an absolute joy to drive. Many upgrades listed below. This is a great great smooth driving car. It is a hard to find 64 LeMans with the original 4 speed transmission with a posi-traction rear end. Together with all the upgrades, it is a ready to enjoy classic.
Unlike other models of classic cars. This is the perfect sized classic car. Just the right size for yourself and your passengers. There is room in the trunk for your golf clubs, or luggage for a weekend getaway, or both.
Mechanical such as: engine, transmission, rear end, suspension, brakes, cooling, ignition, gauges, steering, etc., are working with no known mechanical issues.
Upgrades:Over 20K in upgrades. Dakota Digital Dash with computer connection to MSD computer; Aluminum intake manifold; MagnaFlow Exaust; Clutch; Electric Fan; 160 degree Thermostat; MSD Atomic EFI; MSD Electronic Ignition; Valve covers and gaskets; Wipers; Classic car stereo w Blue Tooth, amp, speakers & 3 USB charging ports; 4 wheel disk brakes; UMI Level 4 suspension with coil overs in front; MechMan 170 Amp Alternator (30 amps at idle); power steering pump with reserve; convertible top motor/pump; battery.
Convertible top cylinders look to be replaced in 2010. Two new convertible top cylinders and lines that will be included with the car. The black convertible top has had a few small patches. There are no leaks and operates with no issues.
The two tone red and gray metal flake paint scheme sparkles in the sun.
The front and rear bumpers have some paint chips. As well as a few around the trunk lid. The engine, transmission, and rear end have not been rebuilt to my knowledge. Thus the rear end, transmission, engine gaskets have not been replaced except the valve cover gaskets. However the clutch has been replaced and associated gaskets as well.
The fuel efficiency is great with the added electronic ignition, fuel injection, and electric fan. Also, the car runs cool with the upgraded thermostat and electric fan.
Interior is clean with white upholstery and black weaved carpet.
Additional information will be provided upon request. Maintained by professional classic car mechanics and are available for reference.
This has been a project of passion for myself and now time to move onto another project.
