For sale is this very hard to find 1964 Lemans Convertible. I am selling this car with an original steel 1964 GTO Hood that is in excellent condition (This hood alone is a $2,000.00- $3,000.00 value, earch ebay and you will find one for sale at $3,000 without the chrome scoops). This amazing car also is also being sold with what I believe to be the Original 326 V8 and the Original 3 Speed Manual Transmission. When I picked up this car it was advertised as a 4-barrel 326. The code on the engine (code #925) shows it as a 2-barrel engine but I am not for sure as it did come with a 4 barrel Carter AFB Carburetor and the 4-barrel intake was on this engine. A PHS (Pontiac Historical Service) will have to be purchased to find out for sure.
All of the glass is in excellent condition except for the windshield. The passenger side door window needs to be put back on its tracks.
The engine that comes with this car was totally rebuilt in 2009. I was told this buy the man I purchased the car from. He also stated that after the rebuild the engine was never placed in the car or started asit was wrapped in plastic and sittingin his garage after that rebuild. I wasn't sure if this was an accuratestatement for sure but I foundit to be true after investigating. I found a sticker on the engine the said Jasper Engines with the number 703859 on it so I called and found out that it was rebuiltaround 2008-2009 timeframe and that the rebuild cost was $4900.00 when it was rebuilt and came with a 3 year/100,000 mile warranty which has now already passed. I could not get the particulars from them on what was all done as they would have to search for a hard copy of the work done which they didn't/wouldn't look for. I can tell you that looking down into the spark plug holes the pistons are brand new in this engine. This is basically a brand new 326 Engine coming with this car as well.

This car was built at the Baltimore Plant
A quick vin decoding of the vin is as follows 824B1858, is the engine displacement, is the series (Lemans), is the year 196(4), nd B is the plant (Baltimore), he last numbers are the production sequence.
Car was built at the Baltimore Plant therefore if you clone this car into a 1964 GTO Convertible nobody at a car show can tell it is a clone by the tag on this car, s the Baltimore plant didn't list any options which is unlike the the Kansas or Pontiac plants that will list the GTO option as 5N. I'm not much for cloning cars but it would be a very inexpensive way to own a 1964 GTO Convertible which only 6,644 were built and have brought in over $90,000.00 at car auctions. Remember GTO was only an option in 64 and 65, ll GTO's are just an option on a Lemans.
This car was also advertised as a 4-speed car but it has a 3-speed manual in it. Not 100% sure what it came with originally but I am guessing the 3-speed is original. Once a PHS Documentation is purchased then you would be able to tell for sure what the car came with for sure.
I have the original seats, rilles, eadlight bezels, ose panel and nose center, ood latch bar, ront bumper with brackets, an, ater pump, lywheel fan, arburetor, lectric motor for top, ir cleaner, urst Shifter and various other small parts.
As for things that I know this car needs for replacement. Obviously interior will need to be redone which you can purchase aftermarket seat covers, arpet etc. with no problem. It will need the very lower portion of the trunk pan replaced, he very front floor pans in front of the seat area on both sides due to the car not having a top in place and enduring weather. The left quarter panel needs a small replacement on the very bottom section. If it was me I would probably replace the whole passenger side quarter panel. Not totally necessary but that is how I would do it to make sure it is done the best possible way on a car this desirable. The rust on the very front floor section and the lower section of the trunk is due to the car not being covered up properly and enduring the weather.
This is a Colorado Car and the frame just has very light/ mild surface rust and is in very good condition on the underside. I have taken pictures of this so you can see this for yourself. This car supposedly sat for about 20 years without being driven so the underside of the car is very nice. The few spots on the floor and the trunk is due to no storing this car properly with no top.All of the rails and clamps are there fora new convertible top cover.
PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED MORE PICTURES OR HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS ABOUT MY CAR
