You are bidding on a 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix convertible! Only 5,856 of these cars were made and very few are still on the streets. Not only were less than 6,000 of these cars produced, but this is the only year that Pontiac made a convertible Grand Prix which makes them even more sought after. The car has a stylish designand offers hideaway headlights in the grille. There is actually a 1967 Pontiac Grand Prix convertible on display at the Smithsonian Institution National Museum of American History! Family owned since 1985, this automobile can either be driven and shown off on the streets or fully restored and thecenterpiece of anyone's showroom. A must have for any classic automobile lover, and would be especiallyvaluablefor a Pontiac collector!

Additional information: The car has been sitting in familygarages for most of the past 20 years. Because of this, I took to a local mechanic to get the car ready for sale. Mechanic advised that I should refurbish the fuel tank and fuel sender since the car had been fairly inactive for so many years.Sothe tank and the sending unit were professionally refurbished this summer (August 2015). Mechanicalso advisedthat he thinksthe car will need a tune up and possibly some carburetor work. Brakes will also need to be inspected since the carwas in storage for so long. The odometer reads 85,060, but I believe the actual mileage is 185,060. There are some normal/expected wear and tear on the paint job, and there is a little rust above the rear wheel wells (see pics above) that will need to be dealt with some day. The vacuum-operated doorsthat hidthe hideaway headlights in the grillealso need to be worked on.
The title is clear. The car is being sold as is and thebuyer is responsible for pick up and/orshipping expenses(I live in Louisville, Kentucky). I would not recommend the car be driven home (until brakes are inspected). I would like paymentwithin 10 days of sale and will accept PayPal orCashier's check before we arrange pickup/shipping; orI will acceptCash in person at the time of pickup and/or shipping. If you have any questions about the car please send me a message and I'll respond as soon as possible. Thanks!
