GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1970 Pontiac Grand Prix for consideration. This Grand Prix was assembled in Fremont, CA on February 18 of 1970. It was delivered by a dealership in Coos By, Oregon - it is one of only 122 produced with a factory installed M20 Hurst 4-speed transmission. Grand Prix production in 1970 totaled 65,750. Features include; 400 / 468 cubic inch stroker motor, 10.5 to 1 compression, SRP forged pistons, Scat rods, and 4.250... crank, ARP main studs, Roller cam and lifters, ported Edelbrock heads, 750 Holley carb, Doug's headers, 3.55 12 bolt posi rear axle, 4 speed M-20 transmission and more. This vehicle was dyno tested at Walsh Motorsports; it produced 394 horsepower to the rear wheels and 490lb-ft torque in July of 2017. The owner has recently installed an aftermarket radio (mounted in the trunk) and aftermarket speakers hidden throughout the vehicle. This is a great running car that is completely turn-key ready for its next owner. Please call or email us today for more information. The Grand Prix was a line of automobiles produced by the Pontiac Division of General Motors from 1962 through 2002 for coupes and 1988-2008 for sedans. First introduced as part of Pontiac's full-size car model offering for the 1962 model year, the marque varied repeatedly in size, luxury, and performance during its lifespan. Vertical grille inserts replaced the horizontal bars of the 1969, movement of "Grand Prix" nameplates from the lower cowls to the rear C-pillars and the vertical chromed louvers from the C-pillars down to the lower cowls, highlighted the 1970 Grand Prix.
