1967 Pontiac Firebird Additional Info:
This is a very solid 1967 Original Numbers Matching Firebird with the PHS from Arizona. It was in storage there for 20 years. 10 years ago this car was mechanically restored. The odometer reads 75,263, with the condition of this body i fully believe it is accurate however i cannot prove it. The original 326 and automatic trans were completely rebuilt. Engine has a performance cam, intake and carb from edelbrock. It also has a complete Msd ignition system, headers and a complete flow master dual exhaust system. The original rearend with factory traction bar was rebuilt with a New Posi unit and 3:73 gear. It also has a new power 4 wheel disk brake system, all new ball joints, upper and lower a frame bushings, steering arms, new shocks and tires. Since all this work was done the car has been in dry heated storage and has been drove around the block a couple of times each summer. The interior is all original black and will need restored for show quality. With a new headliner and carpet it would clean up to be very nice original driver quality. Now for the body, the cars original color is champagne which is very rare. The underside of this car is amazing and original GM steel. There is no rust at all, floors, trunk pan, rockers, frame rails are rust free. There is two puncture holes in the middle of the trunk pan(note Pic). The outer body is not patched. There is nothing to hide, it does have rust around outer wheel wells on the rear quarters and on the bottoms of the front fenders, let me stress these are small spots and again see pics for reference. The rest is rust free, under the doors are perfect and the dash metal is perfect as well. The hood has hood pin holes. The bumpers and stainless are very nice. There is a dent in the rear tail panel, again see pic for reference. I have done my best to describe this very nice piece of American Muscle. This is a great piece for Restore or is already an excellent driver. It runs and drives great, you are more than welcome to schedule an evening inspection or test drive in Knox Indiana 46534 up until Auctions end. If you have any questions or need more pics please text Rick or call in evenings at 574-292-1269. Thanks for looking.
