1969 Pontiac Firebird Sprint Additional Info:
Own a rare piece of Pontiac history. Only 428 sprint automatics were built. The Pontiac OHC 6 was the brain child of John Delorean. Delorean wanted to build a advanced inline six. Pontiac had a one barrel six, and the sprint. The Sprint was a 215 hp automatic and 230 hp manual trans inline six with a 4 barrel carburetor. This firebird sprint was completely restored in 2013. Paint is a 9 out of 10, interior is brand new, drive train has been completely rebuilt with approximately 625 miles since rebuild. This car is signed by Jim Wangers "the god farther of the GTO". Jim Wangers was an advertising executive for Pontiac who convinced GM to build the GTO the first muscle car. Making Jim Wangers responsible for muscle cars. The car is fully PHS documented, and has historical documentation explaining the development of the OHC 6 Sprint. It also has receipts from the build and original owners manual. The car has a few modifications, the person that restored the car added a hurst shifter, electric fuel pump, and upgraded stereo. I have the original shifter, air cleaner if you want to it put back to original. Please come look at car so you can appreciate how nice this car is.
