if you looking for a good investment quality Firebird thenyou've found it!These carsdidn't survive and usually losttheir original motors and transmissions to bigger V8', This one survived with numbers matching drivetrai, it even has the Original interior and working AM Radio !I justcan't tell you how well this car drives
I have the original build sheet for this car and I have had Pontiac Historical Services perform a detail report on this car,Ihappy to report IT IS AS IT SHOULD BE!
The quarters were patched and the car was painted from whatI can derive in the mid 80's and really need to be cut out and replaced along with the paint job, body andundercarriage are both in great shape, please see videosIhave uploaded to youtube for a more detailed look.
I recommend a third party vehicle inspector toverify all myfacts andI will be happy to meet with them
all gauges work as they should even hood tach,
It has a set of Torque Thrust rims and new set of 15"tires but I have theoriginal rims and sportpackage hubcaps that have great set of 14"tires on themI will include with the car along with the original radiator which there is nothing wrong with itI just wanted a better cooling aluminum radiator as I have driven this carto the next county to car shows and drive inmovies for the last 3 years and all overGatlinburg and pigeon Forge TN as well as themountains in Cherokee NC withabsolutely no problems AT ALL!
now for the bad thatI have noted on the video, likeI mentioned above someone welded in quarter wheel well lips in the 80's need to be replaced right, there is a seem split in the driver sided set back, and the dash has a crack on thepassenger side. there is no major rust to noteanywhere else on the car, the dash to windshield is great no rust there either. this car has sit in a garage and barn for many years
has a set of torque thrust rims with NEW tires installed last year.
