This is a rare, ighly-documented 1986 Grand Prix 2+2. Only 111 of these cars were built with the Y97 option in 1986. The prototype was made famous by Richard Petty at Talladega. These cars only came one way, ilver on silver and fully loaded. The previous owner purchased the car in 1988 and kept it in very good original condition!
There are only 47,000 original miles on this beautiful car! The owner's manual, riginal framed build sheet, ocumentation from GM Canada, 986 Pontiac service manual and a handful of receipts are included in the sale.

History
The Pontiac GrandPrix is a luxury-performance automobile that was produced by the Pontiacdivision of General Motors. First introduced as part of Pontiac's full-sizemodel offering for the 1962 model year, he Grand Prix name was also applied tocars in the personal luxury car market segment and the mid-size offering,slotting below the large Bonneville in Pontiac's model lineup.
An updated taillightdesign with three sections was the only major change to the 1986 Grand Prix. Anew 2+2 model was offered for homologation of an aerodynamic coupe body forNASCAR competition. 2+2-specific pieces are an aero nose, ubble rear glass anda fiberglass trunklid with integral spoiler. All 2+2 models came equipped witha corporate 305ci four-barrel engine, he 200-4R four-speed automatictransmission and 3.08:1 rear axle ratio. They have a two-tone paint job withsilver on top and gray on the bottom, ith 2+2 decals and striping and 15x7steel Rally II wheels. Approximately 1,225 Grand Prix 2+2's were built in 1986.
