1971 Plymouth Barracuda Additional Info:
You are bidding on a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda. This is my wife's car and she has owned it for about 25 years. It has not been driven for a few years now and has maybe been driven about five hundred miles in the last twenty years. I started it about 3 years ago and drove it up and down the street. It ran and drove but I do not guaranty it to be a perfect daily driver right out of my driveway. It has a 1973 340 in it but is originally a 318 car. The only rust spot that I have found was on the back right quarter panel (see pic-black primer patch). I had that professionally fixed. Believe it or not the trunk floor is near mint condition. I wish my Challengers trunk floor looked that good. I tried to get good pics of the body dents. Overall the body is in good shape except for the front fenders. Someone cut the bottom corners for tire clearance and they both have some bondo. The Cuda hood is not bad but someone hacked some holes in the bottom for hood pins(see pic). The grill has a missing piece and a couple of cracks but is very fixable. I have not pulled up the carpet but have been under the car and have not seen any rust spots in the floors. I had an extra dual cutout rear valance and put that on but does not have all the attaching hardware on it. I added the 15 x 6 1/2 ralley wheels on it because it had some ugly aluminum 14 inch wheels(yuck). What a difference that made. The console is out of a 1970 E body and the lid is loose. I have not looked into why. The car is originally FE5 and has one not so good repaint. The drivers side door panel is off but in the back seat. I had it off to install a remote side mirror and never put it back on(I think it needs some clips). The dash pad is cracked(what else is new, hey all crack). It has an aftermarket radio but I might have an extra factory am. If I find it, t will go with the car. I really don't want her to sell it but she wants to remodel a bathroom. Happy wife, appy life! I have tried my best to describe the car as best I can. If you have any questions please ask. This 1971 Plymouth Barracuda is sold "AS IS, HERE IS " and no "WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED". A Thousand dollar deposit is required within 48 hours of auction end and payment in full within 10 days from auction end. I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is for sale locally. Thank you and have a great day.
