1965 Plymouth Fury Additional Info:
I bought this car last week from the owner's widow. The gentleman that owned the car just had it painted at a high end shop and the paint is simply beautiful. Sadly the owner passed away shortly after she was completed. I enjoy driving this cruiser, starts right up and drives straight and true. This is the 1st American collector car I have ever bought as I have a passion for old VW Buses and the odd vintage Mercedes. I fell in love with the condition of this car and love the colors and smooth running V8. Here is a list of what was done to get her up to this condition:
- Complete paint job By Wilson's in Colorado Springs, May 2015
- Both front/rear bumpers re-chromed, both look new (not sure of date)
- Rebuild Engine ($6200) Dec 2010
- New Exhaust, Dec 2010
- Replaced Door Jams, Inner belt moldings, July 2002
- Replaced fuel pump, June 2012
- Repair rear back rest, Recover Passenger door panels, recover dash pad, Sept 2003
These are the major items completed. He also added cruise control that works and windshield washer delay that I could not get to work. I have a folder of all records that will go to the new owner. Tires are are in good shape as are the 4 hubcaps. The car is beautiful but I prefer old German cars and should not have bought this. I just could not resist it. Yes I'm car crazy :) The car starts and runs fantastic and is a fun cruiser. The glass is crystal clear and the interior seats and carpet are in nice shape minus a tear in the cloth seat, driver's side. I have sold several cars on EBAY and am straight forward. If you are looking for a nice Fury this may be for you. I will help with shipping but all costs will be covered by the new owner. I will answer questions ASAP. Good luck!
