Vehicle Details
Factory big-block Road Runner with a second-chance story —Nearly complete project, clean and open Tennessee title, ready for the next build.
Some cars pass through your life once.
This one came back to me like a boomerang!
I first bought this 1973 Plymouth Road Runner in late 2005 from a county lieutenant sheriff here in Tennessee. At the time it had a fresh “Hazard Yellow” lacquer paint job and Daisy Duke style stripe package — Clean and unmistakable Southern Mopar muscle!
I later sold it through my dealership. (Regretfully!)
In 2018, I found it again.
Same VIN. Same car. Same Tennessee history.
But this time it was being taken apart. Stripped for a full restoration.
I told the seller I would only buy it if he stopped it immediately. That’s how this Road Runner came back home for a second time.

Dukes of Hazzard Era Connection
The 1973–1974 Road Runner body style is the same era and design seen in Daisy Duke’s early Road Runner in The Dukes of Hazzard.
This is not a screen-used vehicle! Please don’t ask.lol
Everywhere I drove it (the first time around) everyone old enough to know would always ask me if it was used in the television show.
It is an extremely rare piece Mopar and television history!
Whether you build:
• Factory restoration
• Daisy Duke tribute car
• Pro-touring street machine
• Modern Mopar restomod
The platform fully supports it.
