1965 Plymouth Satellite Additional Info:

Rare 65 Satellite. Same 2nd owner since 1972. A 383 console 4 speed car. First owner was a Chrysler Engineer. Car has Roadrunner suspension. Swaybars front & rear. Factory traction bars. Original engine. Car stored since 1979. Transmission is 68 Roadrunner. 430-1 Posi rear-end. Too many upgrades to list here. I have owned this car since 1972 when I graduated High School. I worked at Race Car Engineering and saw it come in for work. I fell in love with it. This car is a true survivor with minimal repair to ensure another many decades. I will try to list as much as I can. Other than the transmission, it is a numbers matching car. A true rare console 4 speed. I discovered a 70 Super Bee pistol grip has the same bends so a slight trim on top plate and it is in
Transmission upgraded to a New Process from 1968 Road Runner to allow for a slip yoke at trans and much better syncronizerss for smooth shifting.
ENGINE
383 bored .040 over and no miles yet. All threads tapped to spec. New cam bearings. Block and heads sprayed with 5 layers of self etching primer and 4 coats of red high heat engine paint.
Purple Shaft .509 cam with 1.5 stock rockers at 1.6 roller rockers make .542 lift
I have roller lifters and roller rockers.
New crankshaft and bearings, bored + new .040 pistons and rings, stock stroke, approx 392 cubic inch
8 quart Milodon oilpan and pickup with stud fasteners, royal purple synthetic oil.
(Peapared for Holley Sniper EFI conversion with self contained self learning computer. High pressure fuel pump and filter mounted between the shocks period correct Weiand dual plane aluminum intake hidden under correct dual horn air cleaner.) I have cast iron intake and carb also

Stainless mufflers, mandrel bent 2-1/2 tail pipes with stainless stainless tips. Stainless band clamps on pipes.
TRANSMISSION
1968 New Process 4 speed in console (rare) Hurst Competition Shifter with new bushings on shift rods, with brand new pistol grip shift handle. Aluminum driveshaft loop. Brand new emergency brake cables. New speedometer gear to match 430 rear end gear set and cable adapter.
INTERIOR
Bucket seats rebuilt, new headliner, new package tray and insulation, new rear seat to trunk divider, new Chrysler double din stereo with cd, and matching 500 watt speakers, front and rear. ( I have the original AM radio and bezel)new door panels, new rear panels. New carpet. Original dash board and instruments. 77k original miles. Original console rebuilt. Black interior, all interior lights work, added a factory dash reverse light, new door switches. New glove box and glove box console lock sets. New headlight switch, dimmer switch, ignition switch w/ key matching door locks. Clutch, and brake pedal pads are new as well as the gas pedal.

Original sheet metal, car stored indoors from 1979 to 2009
NO body filler, Car was sealed with “undercoating” as brand new new floor pans front, NO RUST on frame rails or floors.
new trunk well, both replaced because of pin holes.
Grille and headlight bezels are dent free. Satellite Red White and Blue trim center grille. Headlight buckets and bulb retainers intact. Tail lights are LED, Reverse lights are LED.

275-60-15" Pro-Trac" tires on WELD Wheels rear and 3” studs, open end lug nuts for visual proof
245-60-15 "Pro-Trac" tires on WELD Wheels front.
All four wheels are reamed to diameter of lug nuts for a NO slop faste
