We will start off with the exterior of this GTX. As you walk around it you can see that the body is in excellent condition with beautiful body lines and down the sides it's laser straight. It's showcased in the lemon twist yellow paint scheme that is the factory color. We can see that it was redone in base coat clear coat and has been wet sanded, buffed, and polished out to a mirror finish. The lemon twist is accented by the black stripes which are also a factory option for it. It comes equipped with both outside mirrors along with having the drip rail molding. This is a 2-door hard top, and we can see that the glass all has an excellent fit and goes up and down with ease. All the seals and weather stripping in this 70 are also in great condition. Both the front and rear bumpers have a brilliant finish as well and we can say that the front grill is in great condition. Acting weird is very nice along with all the tail lights and lenses. To finish off the look this GTX is sitting on the magnum 500 wheels with a set of Firestone Wide Oval white letter tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this 70. On the inside it's done in classic black with wood grain accents. We can see both door panels are in great shape and offer the standard crank windows. This Plymouth does sport the bucket seats option along with the center console that houses the four-speed pistol grip shifter. Both the front and rear seat covers are very nice. Also, we can see that the carpet and headliner are in great condition, and all has a great fit as well. Looking at the dash we can see that has been very well cared for over the years. As the dash pad both upper and lower is very nice and has a great fit. All the gauges look to be in excellent condition as well and the radio has been upgraded to a retro sound digital knobbed unit. Inside the trunk we can see is all solid as well and has been detailed out with a new trunk mat.
Finally, we will get to the driveline of this Plymouth. When you look under the hood, we can see that the inner Fender and firewall is all solid. The power comes from the matching numbers 440 engine that's set up with the factory intake and a four-barrel carb. The 440 is dressed in factory painted valve covers and air cleaner. This GTX comes set up with power steering as well as having drum brakes on all four corners. For exhaust it has manifolds with new dual pipes and mufflers. The 440 engine is mated to the matching numbers 4 speed manual transmission that goes back to the original Dana rear end with the sure grip 354 gears. This is a factory A33 track pack car. When we look under it we can see that the floors are all rock solid and that the frame is in excellent condition as well. A new gas tank has been installed along with the new fuel line. All the front and rear suspension is in great shape and new end link bushings have been installed. On the highway this 440 has plenty of power and the four speed goes to the gear smooth and is a blast to drive. You won't want to miss out on your opportunity to own this iconic muscle car.
