1970 Plymouth Barracuda - 512ci Stroker Tremec 5spd California Car - Plum Crazy Additional Info:

Up for sale is my 1970 Plymouth Barracuda in Plum Crazy Metallic color. I have owned this vehicle for 6 years and am located in Southern California.I purchased the car from a friend in non running condition and started on a journey to bring her back to life! I am a performance car enthusiast and had a lot of fun building this car and driving it around. We cant drive anywhere without getting thumbs up and tons of complements! Vehicle has a clean California Title and is currently registered in my name with title in hand.Front brakes have been converted to a disc setup, vehicle does have power steering along with the Rallye dash gauges. I do believe this car has been repainted in its original color. I also know that many years before I owned it, the car had a lot of work done to it by Steve Mank at Conestogo Motors out in Oklahoma. I believe that is who painted it. I have spoken to him and he does remember the car!The engine started it's life as a 440 big block. It needed a rebuild so we decided to go all out and stroke it to 512ci. Only the best parts, machine work and assembly practices were used.Engine was expertly assembled by Super Stock Champion Ken Etter.Engine was broken in on the engine dyno and tuned at Westech Performance Group. On pump gas 91oct. it made 600HP and 649lbft. I have the dyno graphs :)See the list of parts below:Forged 440 source 4.250" stroker crankshaft Forged 440 source .040 Platinum Series pistons440 source H-Beam connecting rodsH Series main and connecting rod bearingsTotal seal RingsetEdelbrock #5093 E- Street cylinder head packageEdelbrock #7193 Performer RPM Intake ManifoldMSD Ready to Run Ignition Distributor and coilBHJ Harmonic BalancerHolley Quick Fuel 750CFM CarburetorHolley Quick Fuel Mechanical Fuel PumpMilodon #30761 Hemi 6qt oil panCOMP Solid Roller CamCOMP Roller Lifter SetCOMP Valve Spring SetCOMP Tool Steel Retainers10 degree locks, spring cups and new valve sealsHarland Sharp Roller Rocker ArmsTTI440-178C4 1-7/8" 440 HEADERS, 3.0" COLLECTORSARP Hardware throughout entire engine top to bottomOriginal Mopar Performance Cast Aluminum Valve CoversCVF Racing Wraptor Serpentine Conversion system with ACDerale Custom Electric Fan setup with Dakota Digital Buetooth controllerNew fuel tank with new 3/8 pickup and sending unitAll fuel lines are custom A/N type in blackCenterforce DF161911 ClutchI purposely chose a slightly smaller carburetor as peak power was not the main goal. I wanted a engine that was snappy and responsive with good manners. That is exactly how this car runs, crisp and fun to drive! The car has a aggressive cam lope at idle and sounds awesome!Transmission is a short 1st gear ratio Tremec 5 speed conversion kit from American Powertrain. While the engine was out I purchased and fitted a new hydraulic throw-out bearing and Centerforce clutch from them so its all fresh.Wheels are original vintage Budnik Billet Aluminum wheels in 17in sizing. They are pretty much in new condition and look really good on the car.AC is installed but is not plumbed in. I do have all the original lines. There are some small paint imperfections here and there and a chip on the lower side of the drivers door. No major rust issues. I did put a new set of power window motors in, they could use a little bit of alignment adjustment but work just fine. The car is not a resto-mod or full show piece but it is truly very nice! All the pictures were taken last week and are reflective of its current condition.Feel free to ask any questions 909-222-0698Thanks for reading!
