If you have been looking for a muscle car, this is a cool 1970 Plymouth Barracuda that is ready to have some fun today! 70 and 1971 Barracudas, along with the Dodge Challenger, have always been thought of in the iconic Musclecar category with the Hemi and Six Pack cars bringing huge money. This car will get you all the looks and performance of one at a fraction of the cost. It is clean, mean, and very fast. It is a lifelong Nevada and California car builtin the Los Angeles,CA plantthat has an excellent rust free body. The floorboards and trunk are excellent. Try to find one this clean back East. It is a factory BH23 Barracuda that has been transformed into a monster 'Cuda clone. It is Plum Crazy Purple with a black 440 Hockey stripe. It was originally B5 Blue. If you are looking for a numbers matching trailer queen, THIS IS NOT IT! The paint and body are nice. It is not a 10k dollar, mile deep show quality job, but it does show well. The bumpers are good but have not been rechromed. Twin scoop 'Cuda hood with 440 Magnum badges and hood pins. It has a wicked, high dollar 10 to 1 compression 440 c.i. Mopar motor that was custom built by Superior Machine in 2014. I have the receipts for the engine build along with a huge file of receipts for a bunch of other stuff. Tons of money was spent on it and no shortcuts were taken. It has aluminum heads, big aluminum radiator, electric fan, Scat rods, forged pistons, Lunati cam, aluminum intake, Melling oil pump, Milodon pan, Holley carburetor, trick headers, MSD ignition w/rev limiter, Mopar Performance valve covers, etc. The car sounds awesome and runs even better. It is VERY strong and VERY fast. New battery. Built 727 with a 2400 RPM stall torque converter. Sure Grip rearend. Nice exhaust run through factory style exhaust tips out the back. Wilwood front disc brakes with power assist. It also has power steering. It was a factory air conditioning car. The engine compartment itself is very nicely detailed. It has a ton of chrome and polish and is clean enough to eat off of. The black interior is in excellent condition. It has bucket seats with center console and floor shifter. It has a Rally Dash. Factory Rally wheels with good tires. Clean, clear California title in hand with current CA registration until 2017. All in all, this is just a cool old Mopar that will turn heads everywhere. I am located in Solana Beach, California near San Diego. Thanks and good luck!
