1970 Plymouth Barracuda Additional Info:
I am selling my 1970 Plymouth Barracuda. This car is a really nice, original California blue plate car from 1970 with lots of paperwork and history of ownership. There is no rust on the car as it has been beautifully painted a few years ago. There are only two visible blemishes on the paint, and no visible dents or dings. (see pictures the blemishes are minor). The chrome is new and beautiful. There is only minor things you can find as you walk around the car, but the reality is this is a show car and one you can be proud of. The interior is just as clean and the seats have been recently redone as have the carpets. There is a dash cover on the dash, I do not know what the original looks like underneath as the cover looks like the original. Headliner also looks like new. An updated bluetooth stereo system with serious power and a big sub woofer in the trunk for punch. It also has a Viper alarm with remote door locking capability and remote start. The car has working AC, although it does require recharging. The car runs and drives great, it has recently had significant tuning and it runs well and at distance. I take it on frequent 100+ mile trips on weekends and it is a joy to drive. The power disc brakes work great with no issues. This is also a power steering car. The trunk is super clean with spare and jack and new carpeting. This Barracuda is a true head-turner. The exhaust is flowmaster but not obnoxiously loud, just right. The car is originally a 318 Barracuda car based on build sheet but obviously it has the 340 Cuda badges etc... but it is not a "Cuda" it is a true 2 barrell 318 car originally. The transmission has been updated to heavy duty 727 torqueflite according to service history. The engine looks to be a 318 2 barrel block. (see photo of code for confirmation). There is a new manifold and 4 barrell edelbrock setup on it now. This is the original color based on the code- a lime green metallic car. This car comes with its original build sheet, service records, resto-books and a bunch of other items I am probably forgetting. California rust free Barracuda, with sales invoice (order sheet), you can drive, show, or whatever you want. Three day sale and low reserve as this needs to sell quickly so please don't bid if you don't have cash in hand. Please email with any questions.
On May-30-16 at 12:43:55 PDT, seller added the following information:A Lot of questions to original "matching" numbers on this car. To be clear, this is an original 318 V8 2bbl car. It has its original motor which has been rebuilt, and when rebuilt added a 4bbl carb and performer intake from Edelbrock. The numbers seen in the photo from the block suggest this motor was completed in October of 1969, right when the Barracuda body was built. That would make it numbers matching if you are looking for a body/ original engine match.
