1973 Plymouth Barracuda 340 Special Additional Info:

For your consideration is a very rare barn find... a 1973 Plymouth Barracuda Special. This car was an original 340 car but it now is powered by a very nice turn-key 360 Automatic. This car had sat in the garage for 16 years and I begged my friend to not let it sit in the garage and die, so the car wasdriven from Staten Island to NJ and after begging for another year to sell it,I finally convinced him.
This car has been sitting in a garage covered in dust for 17 years and it is now ready to be taken to the next level. It is LASER STRAIGHT!!! The paint is well over 20 years old and in most areas it is still like the day they sprayed it. There are a few spots that are in the pictures and a fewsmall bubbles on the very lower part of the rockers under the doors...but there is no major rot on the car. It is an easy candidate for a fresh coat of paint ant the car will be worth $40,000-$50,000. This is an original 340 Special and I looked it up in the Vin # to verify that information. BS23H...B- Barracuda... S= SPECIAL, 23=2dr htp, H=340 LA engine. It now as a 360 automatic. The car has been sitting but it cleaned up with 1 wash and what you see in the pictures is what you are getting. A very rare Cuda Special. Please let the pictures serve as the biggest part of the item description as they are very easy to zoom and I took pictures of all the paint imperfections. Please excuse the raindrops in the last few pictures. I wanted to include those shots and it started to drizzle when I took the pictures. This car just needs paint and some minor tuning to make it to a show level. The interior is immaculate. The underside is also in excellent condition. The trunk needs a little repair but the gas tank is new. The frame is also in very solid condition as are the rockers and floor boards. The pictures do show the original condition.
I encourage you to come and see my car in person. If you live too far then please send any reputable inspection company to my home. I will always make myself available at you or your inspection company's convenience. The car is open for your inspection and it is highly recommended that you do inspect this car before purchase to avoid any problems after the sale. It is sold as is with no warranties or guarantees implied or given due to the age and mileage of the vehicle. That is standard with all vintage car sales. If you decide to purchase the car, you must pay an immediate $500 NON-REFUNDABLE Paypal deposit to secure the sale. If you are planning to give the deposit and then rethink the deal, it is forfeited so please do not blow my auction up if you are not 100% positive that you want the car. This is an auction and it is a binding contract. I am very easy to do business with but I must include this in my auction to avoid problems with sketchy buyers. The balance must be paid in Cash at the time of pickup. NO CERTIFIED CHECKS OF ANY KIND. If you must get a certified check you must make it out to yourself and cash it at your bank and bring cash. If you live too far away and must pay by bank wire transfer, I will offer that only to people that live more than 200 miles from NJ 07746.
I will assist in securing a great quote with the shipper that I use if you need shipping...and the cost of shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser. I use a very reputable shipper and never had any incidents ever. But you can call around and get you own quote and call my guy last to see if he can beat or price match. the car is in the 07746 zip code.
Also I will offer FREE SHIPPING to anyone within 100 miles from my home...by flatbed. Any further must be shipped by the purchaser.
Please read my detailed buyer and seller feedbacks. I have a 100% buyer and seller feedback rating for over 12 long years and I will always go the extra mile for any sale large or small to make it a pleasant experience for both of us. I am very easy to reach through the Ebay messaging system and I usuall respong to all messages within 24 hours and usually much sooner.
