1966 PLYMOUTH VALIANT SIGNET
Top-of-the-line Signet trim level. This valiant came from factory with 273 c.i. V-8. This is basically the Plymouth version of the Dodge Dart of the same year. Mopar siblings as it were.
Car has been "together" in roughly present format for over 25 years. It is old-school. It is reminiscent of the cars that I recall seeing in the 1980s! Very solid car. Car spent the bulk of its existence in Southern Oregon. Odometer presently reads 63,716. I would assume it has "rolled over"
Red exterior with black interior.Color is a 1994 Ford color called Performance Red.It is very close to '66 Plymouth Toreador Red. PPG Deltron paint, not perfect but shows well.Body is straight with excellent body gaps/seams.Underside of car is solid--basically in "survivor" good condition--but not restored.All trim, including bumpers are the originals.
Drivetrain:
1971 340 c.i. engine (out of a 1971 Dodge Demon).Edelbrock intake manifold and mild cam.Holley Sniper Fuel Injection set-up.904 Torqueflite automatic transmission with shift kit.8 3/4 Rear end with Sure Grip and 3.73 gearing. Desirable 742 center section with 1.75" pinion.SSBC Front disc brakes. Upgraded drum brakes out back.
Gauges all work, as do headlights, turn signals and wipers. Doors, trunk and hood all close like new. Glass is good. All windows roll up and down as original. Seat upholstery has been replaced as stock. Carpet replaced as stock. Could use a new headliner. All original seatbelts are in place.
Mopar Rallye wheels: 14" x 6" up front and 15" x 7" out back. Small Bolt Pattern. BF Goodrich T/A tires with low miles.
