1964 Plymouth Other Additional Info:
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this breathtaking 1964 Plymouth Valiant Convertible! This stunning example comes in a radiant red paint job complemented by a spotless black interior and white convertible top. The convertible top is in good condition and functions as it should. Powering the Valiant is believed to be the original 225ci incline 6 cylinder motor mated to a crisp manual transmission. This vehicle comes to us from a private collector and as such has always been properly maintained and stored. Some of the recent maintenance includes a new clutch, new motor mounts and other various service documents. Additionally, a full restoration is believed to have been completed on the vehicle by the previous owner. The restoration was done to such quality that the Valiant made a star appearance in Hemmings magazine in October 2019. So, if you've been in the market for a stunning classic that speaks for itself, this is the vehicle for you. Please call or email us today for more information.
The Plymouth Valiant (first appearing in 1959 as simply the Valiant) is an automobile which was manufactured by the Plymouth division of the Chrysler Corporation in the United States from the model years of 1960 through 1976. It was created to give the company an entry in the compact car market emerging in the late 1950s. The Valiant was also built and marketed, without the Plymouth name, worldwide in countries including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Finland, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden and Switzerland, as well as other countries in South America and Western Europe. It became well known for its excellent durability and reliability, and was one of Chrysler's best-selling automobiles during the 1960s and 1970s, essentially keeping the company afloat during its hard economic times.
