1967 Plymouth GTX Additional Info:

1967 Plymouth GTX
I just brought this back east from California in November, it's my personal car - this is not a consignment car. The Certicard states the car was bought new in Missoul, Montana and I have owner history from Texas, so I'm assuming this has been a west coast its entire life.
All #'s matching 440/375hp 480lb ft. This is the first year of the GTX and the 440 engine was the largest motor available in ANY production car in 1967, which makes these inaugural GTX's historically significant to us Mopar guys. Repainted in it's original hue of Turbine Bronze, with black stripes (door jams still in original paint), HD 727 Torqueflite Auto trans, 8-3/4" open rear with 3:23's.
Car matches and is documented with the fendertag and buildsheet perfectly with the exception on the wheels, it was born with full wheel covers on the 5.5" steelies. As far as I can tell this is all original sheet metal, it's showing 85,800 miles and best I can tell that's accurate if you reference the old registrations I have. The all important paperwork include the original Certicard, Build sheet, owner's manual and the fender tag. Some old service records from TX and CA, along with a copy of the latest CA title are also there. The car was repainted in 1996 and still presents VERY well, the panels are VERY straight and the gaps are real good. The chrome shines nicely as does the stainless. The rear trunk panel is in very nice shape and that's good 'cause you wouldn't want to try and find one of those.
Options include power steering, power brakes (HD police spec drums), AM Radio with rear speaker, fender mount directional indicators and the "buddy seat" which is very cool - it's bucket seats with a little seat/armrest in the middle. The 67 only HP exhaust manifold are in nice shape, the correct exhaust is in place with the 67 only "slanted" tips. The BFG Red Line radials make the car track nicely. If you're looking for a very clean, very correct 67 GTX that will make you proud to own - you owe it to yourself to check out this car. The ONLY reason I'm selling this car is to fund a Hemi resto - thanks!
