1939 Plymouth Convertible P-8 Sedan
This extremely rare Plymouth 4-door convertible is ONE of ONLY 387 that were built in 1939. That's an especially small number when you consider that 403,618 Plymouths were manufactured that same year. The original price of $1,150.00 made it the highest priced 1939 Plymouth. The P-8 came with a 201 cubic inch straight six-cylinder delivering 82 horsepower. It was applauded for its smooth riding, extra room and sumptuous luxury. So luxurious in fact that Lucille Ball toured the 1939 New York World's Fair in one of these beautiful automobiles.
After an Eight year restoration, this magnificent and rare example is now being offered for sale. The interior is leather with no expense spared at a cost of $11,000 in fine condition. The dash cluster was rebuilt with all gauges in working order. The convertible top has no creases because it has never been put down. The factory radio was send out and is in working condition. There is NO RUST anywhere on this car. Please remember only 27 of these beautiful cars are still in existence. This car has 727 miles since the rebuild.
The car is available for inspection in New Jersey at any time. Please feel free to call Carmine 212-365-0232 with any questions.
