1939 Plymouth Deluxe Additional Info:

this is just a great ole 1939 plymouth in a 2 door body, body is very solid with only minor bubbling starting in a few small lower areas, underside is super clean and solid, there is no rot on the floors, trunk or frame. one passenger door glass does have a crack but does not leak and rolls up and down fine, all gauges work fine, the interior is an older restoration and still looks really good, seats are comfortable, carpets look good as well as the headliner, the engine is super clean also, most everything under the hood looks to have been replaced with factory type parts, there are no rig ups or conversions, this car is very stock looking and runs and drives about as well as any 1939 could, clutch and all gears are smooth with no grinding and it slides right into all gears fine, engine has good power for a flathead 6 with no unusual noise, smoke or leaks. it will idle just fine all day long, tires are in great shape, paint has a patina to it but looks good,. the story on this car is that it was a massachusetts state police car and was painted to this color blue back then. it does have a spot light on the driver side {bulb needs to be replaced} and on the back of the car, the works "state police" can still be seen where the stickers once were. tires and hub caps look good, all the trim looks good, chrome is in really nice shape. its a great car that needs very little to be perfect and a car that can be driven as is with its stock original look to it. 2 door cars or this age and condition don't come up in this price range to often so bid to own, tis is a "no reserve" auction so please be considerate and do not bid unless you have the intention of buying the car. if you would like photos of a specific area, feel free to ask for them before you bid, ask any questions before you bid, feel free to come look the car over before you bid...a non-refundable deposit of $500 is due within 24 hours {no exceptions} of the end of the auction. full payment within 7 days. best payment is cash in person. checks will need up to 2 weeks to clear these days because of so many scams out there. i will also accept post office money orders as full payment as they can be verified asap. the title has been applied for and you will be supplied with a PA title in my name as soon as it arrives. payment must be cleared before the car leaves and before the title is sent out, the car is located in philadelphia pa 19111..."happy cruising ",...the winning bidder is responsible for any and all shipping cost and i will assist in loading in any way i can.

someone asked about photos, no problem, let me know what you would like photos of and i'll take a few and send them, under the hood looks like everything is either like new or been replaced, every cable and hose and even some of the wiring looks like new harness, heater works also ! you would be lucky to find a car from the 1930s in this good of shape for $12,000 or more.
